Dear Anonymous,
I know what that panic is like, it's the fear of irretrievable loss. Despite all our fine words and ideas nothing really equips us for dealing with such things. The inevitable death or passing of a loved one. The thing is we have to somehow try and draw on all the strength within us to find out what we must learn from these experiences. To take a deep breath and face life full on. With as much dignity, joy, hope and positive expectation as possible.
Your positive energy will not only help yourself but will rub off on everyone around you especially your Father. This from a spiritual standpoint is an ideal opportunity for the soul to grow.
It is the conscious ego that pulls and squirms and tries to block out the emotions. But you must'nt; we must all be full of acceptance of the way we feel. Try not to wallow in the emotional pull inside you, but at the same time please don't ignore the way you feel. Talk about it with your feelings to close friends or family you trust. Cry, scream or shout! Run, walk, dance, meditate through the emotions. But don't block them out. Really death is a birth into fuller consciousness and should be a time of happiness and yoy. But you know that, but to live it, that's something else.
The main thing, and the hardest thing I feel is that we have to simply embrace the situation. To realise it is necessary and important for the Soul. To take the feelings and emotions fully onboard and try to make the most of what time we still have to share and enjoy with those whom we love. It should be one of the most loving, caring, and giving periods in your life.
Offer the difficult feelings or thoughts, when they arise, like waves up to the higher self. Cup your hands in front of your eyes, lift your head up, close your eyes and offer the emotions, feelings images or whatever up to a higher force.
Before you go to sleep ask for spiritual guidance. Accept the Karma with thanks. Never be afraid to ask for help. Ask God, the Universe or the Divine Mother, or the higher self for strength to learn and understand from this experience and what you are going through. This karma will make you a stronger and a greater person if you endure knowing that death is the most natural thing in Life.
I know it's hard. But don't pull away from it; from the experience. There is nowhere to hide. The coolest part of a candles flame is in the center. These are not meant as mere words because I have been there and I know what its like and how you will benefit by being with your Father and sharing what he and your family is going through, with optimism and hope knowing that we transcend the physical into spiritual light. We are spiritual beings. Beings of light and love.
Breathe, relax, accept and embrace with joy and love what life brings. Sometimes all we need do is just fully be there for those we love! There is nowhere to go and sometimes nothing needs doing.
God Bless you!
