Again, I'd like to thank you for this reading, and to ask about one of
the points made. "There are strong indications that a career move or
even a change of address will bring much satisfaction." This is of
particular note to me, as before writing you, I'd applied for, and
very well may be offered, a promotion in Minneapolis.
I now live in Arlington, Virginia, and work in Washington, DC, and many friends and family are here for me, and I for them. In the new locale, I know
no one as yet, and am feeling afraid of accepting the position, if
offered, yet drawn to the transition. It's an issue of leaving that
which is familiar, in some ways satisfying, in other ways, not so.
The notion of change is both motivating me, and inspiring me to want to
hold on to what my life currently is. And the extremely cold weather
is off putting and frightening to me. With four more years till
retirement eligibility, the short term length of the experiment in
change is comforting, and it's increasingly clear that I'll not
receive a promotion at my current location soon, as I've been passed
over for four significant promotions here.

A quick reading re: your question. To reiterate from first reading.
